The Parishes of

|
East Lulworth is a coastal parish situated 6 miles south west from Wareham. To the east is the parish of Tyneham, to the north is Coombe Kenyes and to the west if Winfrith Newburgh and West Lulworth. The parish church of St Andrew has registers dating from 1561. There is also a Catholic Church built in 1792, there are spacious Catholic Schools and a Catholic cemetery was opened in 1830. Lulworth Castle lies within the parish, there is also a school and a post office. Population in 1891 was 358. |

Lulworth is also a coastal parish surrounded by Chaldon Herring on
the west and then Winfrith Newburgh and East Lulworth. The village is
close to the shore and the renowned circular bay called Lulworth Cove.
The Church of the Holy Trinity has registers dating form the 16th
century, there is also a Congregational Chapel built in 1835. St
Andrews, Burngate, Bindon Hill and Belhuish are hamlets in the parish.
There is a school built in 1862 and a Coastguard Station. Population in
